T.O. time in Buffalo: The outspoken receiver makes his Bills debut in the Hall of Fame Game. Many observers were surprised in the offseason when Buffalo decided to add the controversial playmaker, but the fans have taken to him quickly. The relationship between Owens and QB Trent Edwards will be watched closely in the minimal action both will see.
Rookies under pressure: Buffalo is counting on Eric Wood and Andy Levitre to be major contributors on a rebuilt offensive line. Their first test will come against Tennessee.
Young’s maturation: Firmly entrenched as a backup for the first time since his rookie season, Titans QB Vince Young has a lot to prove this year. As a No. 2, he will probably see some playing time this Sunday and has a chance to show what he has improved on since last season.
Jones picking up the middle: Perhaps no team lost a biggest star in the offseason than Tennessee, who saw Albert Haynesworth sign with the Redskins. The player now in the spotlight is Jason Jones, Haynesworth’s replacement at defensive tackle.
